Objectivity, Inc.'s Vice President of Product Management, Brian Clark, to speak at 5th International Cloud Expo East 2010
Brian Clark will be returning to speak to the International Cloud Expo audience about distributed data and elastic scalability in cloud computing environments.

Sunnyvale, CA -- April 15, 2010 -- Objectivity, Inc. announced today that Brian Clark, vice president of product management, has been named a speaker at SYS-CON's International Cloud Computing Expo East, to be held in New York City, New York from April 19-21, 2010.
The panel, "Elastic Scalability - A distributed database in the cloud" will take place on April 21 from 5:05-5:55 p.m. at the Javits Convention Center. This informative session will focus on the topic of cloud computing and the technology that satisfies today's critical distributed data requirements. The discussion is directed towards system architects and technical project leaders who are building solutions around large complex data and processing problems.
Cloud computing is the latest stage in the nearly 40 year evolution of grid based utility computing. Clark has witnessed and contributed significantly to these efforts, and has a key expertise in technologies that address the most complex data management requirements within highly distributed computing environments.
Clark was also a panelist at last year's "Cloud Expo West 2009" in Santa Clara, California, where he discussed the progression of cloud computing to date and into the future.
"I'm excited and looking forward to participating again at Cloud Expo," Clark said, "I will be discussing how an alternative database architecture can truly scale in the cloud while giving a single logical view across all data."
Clark has more than 30 years of software industry experience including 20 years working with Objectivity/DB. Prior to joining Objectivity in 1989, he worked at Automation Technology Products. Previously he was with Project Management Services at International Computers Limited, one of Europe's leading computer companies at the time.
